Larry Joe

Larry Joe (68), of Farmington, NM, passed away on June 15, 2023. Larry was born on November 02, 1954, in Shiprock, NM to his parents Susie Arthur and Lewis Joe. Larry was born for the Tachinni clan and the Many Hogans clan. Larry was born and raised in Shiprock, NM. He loved his family, all the family pets, and was a firm believer of the Lord. He was a hard-working man. He went to school and SIPI, where he received his degree as a telephone communications lineman, Larry worked several years in this field in Corcoran, California, Navajo Communications, and the US communications. Larry moved back to New Mexico with his family, where he worked with San Juan County. He loved working outside in his garden. Larry enjoyed being with his family and doing things outdoors: camping, fishing, hunting. He also enjoyed playing his guitars and just simply enjoyed life to the fullest.

Larry is preceded in death by his parents, Susie Arthur and Lewis Joe; his brother, Cecil Myerson; his sisters, Nancy Brown, and Angelina Burch; and his grandparents, Namie Redshirt Arthur and Lester Arthur, Sr.

Larry is survived by his beloved wife, Felicia McNeal; his sons, Justin Joe and Louis Williams; daughters, Jessica Joe, Cynthia Bates, Kimula Bates, and Rebecca Benally; his brother, Terry Clah; his sister Evangeline Arthur; and his grandchildren, Julian Bates, Micah Yazzie, Wesley Yazzie, Crystal Yazzie, Leathan and Corey Dayish, Tristan and Marius Sorrelhorse, Humberto Garcia, Jr., Helios Burch, and his six greatgrandchildren.

Larry's funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Farmington Funeral Home, where a viewing and funeral service will be held. Viewing will be at 1-2pm, the funeral service will be at 2-3pm. Larry will be laid to rest at the Kirtland Fruitland Cemetery at 3:30pm. Larry's pallbearers are Trey Burch, Deion Yazzie, Wesley Yazzie, Caleb Wallace, Lewis Williams, Micah Yazzie, Beau Brown, and Orlando Myerson.
