Laurel Christensen

Laurel Christensen passed away at Cedar Ridge Inn Nursing Home on December 25, 2022, after a short illness. She was born in Denver, Colorado to John and Charlotte Christensen, on November 6, 1946.

Laurel is preceded in death by her parents John and Charlotte. She is survived by her brother David Christensen, niece Melissa Kittelson and her husband Dennis, and their children Maxwell and Daisy.

Laurel was very active in the First Baptist Church Farmington, NM where she had many friends that supported her. The love of her life was her dog, Timmy. He was with her everywhere she went, including church.

Laurel attended school in Kirtland, NM, and graduated in 1964. She received a Bachelor's degree from New Mexico State and a Master's degree from the University of Oklahoma. She was very proud of her work in the field of microbiology.

Cremation has taken place. Arrangements are handled by Farmington Funeral Home. Her services are being handled by her family at the First Baptist Church. The service will be on January 21, 2023, at 2:00PM at the First Baptist Church in Farmington.
