Mr. Leroy "Lee" Thomas Kaufman age 82, of Farmington, NM. passed away on April 18, 2024. Leroy was born on October 25, 1941, in Tama, Iowa to Leo and Bessie Kaufman. He was a veteran of the Vietnam war serving with the United States Navy. Following the service, he became a residential and commercial electrician for many years. He was a proud member of the NRA, he enjoyed camping, hunting, target shooting, but some of his favorite memories were of fishing, an Africa trip, apple tree at grandparent’s farm "Snow Apples" working on the "Duter-Bug" and working with horses.

He was preceded in death by his parents Leo and Bessie Kaufman, his brother Mel Kaufman (Julie) and his sister Maryanne (Don).

He is survived by his Son Scott Kaufman (Amy) his daughter Kimberly Isaacs (Jason). Grandchildren: Jessica Stock (Jared), Dakota Kaufman (Donovan), Sarah Isaacs and Jaiden Isaacs, Ky and Kaly Manzanares. Eight Great Grandchildren. His brothers Larry Kaufman (Velma) and Gary Kaufman (Linda) and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation with the family will be Saturday, April 27, 2024, at 9:00 am followed by funeral services at 10:00 am at Farmington Funeral Home, 2111 W. Apache St. Farmington, NM. Services will be officiated by Pastor Jeff Huisjen. Serving as pallbearers will be Scott Kaufman, Jason Isaacs, Donovan Armenta, Alfred Cordova, Gary Kaufman and Doug Kaufman. Honorary bearers; Larry Kaufman, Jaiden Isaacs and Sarah Isaacs. Interment will follow with military honors at 12:00 noon at Greenmount Cemetery, 900 Cemetery Rd. Durango, CO.
