In memory of Les Eugene Lunsford, who passed away on April 13, 2024 in his hometown of Farmington, we gather to celebrate a life well-lived and a man deeply cherished by his family and friends.
Les born on September 12, 1976, in Farmington, a place that remained close to his heart throughout his life. He embarked on a fulfilling career in the Oil Field industry, where he dedicated his time and skills.
Described as a "Family man," Les had a profound love for his family that shone through in all aspects of his life. He adored spending quality time with his loved ones, cherishing each moment shared together. His hobbies and interests painted a picture of a man who found joy in the simple pleasures of life - from working on motors and woodworking to camping, fishing, and enjoying drives with loved ones. His passion for the show Street Outlaws reflected his love for excitement and thrill.
Les was known for engaging in deep conversations and treasured when family gatherings brought everyone together. His warm presence and kind spirit left an everlasting impact on all who had the privilege of knowing him.
In mourning his loss and carrying his legacy forward are the grandmother Laura Dixon and Grandfather Eugene Dixon. Les is survived by his sons Les Tyler Lunsford, Les Camron Lunsford, Les Pete Lunsford; daughter Lacie Sweat; parents Leslie Lunsford and Donna Dixon; sisters Shannon Lunsford Leslie; and grandchildren Aston Devoreaux King, Elizabeth Ray Lunsford, and Ezekiel Joseph Leroy. Their hearts now carry the memories of a caring father, son, brother, grandfather, and friend whose love knew no bounds.
A Memorial Service to honor and remember Les Eugene Lunsford will be held at 1:00pm May 25, 2024, at Timberline Church in Aztec. The service will be a testament to the impact he had on those around him and the love that will continue to guide our paths in his absence.
