Linda Anne McKay Harrison, age 70 of Farmington, New Mexico, passed away on Tuesday Sept. 3rd. She was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico to Andrew McKay and Dixie Lucas and was preceded in death by her grandparents Alfred and Bertha Laneville, mother Dixie Lucas, father Andrew McKay, sister Lorrie Lynch, and daughter Michelle Oberding. Linda is survived by husband Marion Harrison, daughter Marilyn (Jesus) Ruiz, son Matthew Harrison, sister Christy Lillywhite, brother Tom (Laurel) Kramer, brother Bob (Diane) Kramer, sister Diane (Aaron) Golde, 6 grandchildren Melissa (John) Kelly, Jailyn Ruiz, Jesus Ruiz, Mariah Harrison, and Tianna Harrison, as well as 12 great grandchildren.
Linda was a loving wife, mother, grandma, and great grandma. She was a very strong, determined, independent, but stubborn woman. She always made those around her laugh. Linda cared for everyone around her and always put everyone e first before herself. She is the one we all turned to when in need and she made sure she was always there no matter what the situation was. Linda was the backbone to our family. Linda will be greatly missed by family and friends. Let the Lord be with our family and guide us through this time. "Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted" Matthew 5:4
Memorial Services will be at 10 am Saturday September 28, 2024, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 505 N Oliver Drive in Aztec, NM.
A reception with the family will follow the services.
