In loving memory of Lisa Rodriguez, a cherished daughter, sister, aunt, and friend who touched the hearts of all who knew her. Lisa passed away on March 31, 2024, in the town of Farmington, where she was born on May 2, 1981.
Lisa's journey through life was marked by her vibrant personality and adventurous spirit. From her days as a Bloomfield High School Graduate to her love for arts and crafts, playing pool, basketball and watching the Golden Girls and especially WWE with John Cena.
Lisa always embraced every moment with enthusiasm and joy and in the words of Angelo Gonzales, " I remember that Lisa loved to dance. Country or hip hop it didn't matter, she would always find a partner to dance with, and if she didn't; someone would find her. Everyone loved her dance moves too".
Those closest to Lisa remember her as an outgoing, courageous, friendly, and kind soul who loved cats. Her warmth and infectious laughter could brighten even the darkest of days. One of her most memorable moments was when she shared her secret plan to go to Las Vegas with one of her caretakers. She packed her bags and told her mom with wallet full of money she was off to Vegas! - a testament to her spontaneous and free-spirited nature.
Lisa's passing leaves a void in the lives of her surviving family members: her father Eldon Dean Rodriguez; brother Rene' Eldon Rodriguez; sisters Regina Rodriguez, Andrea (Alex Stephens) and Linda ( Michael Carey); nieces Candace Trujillo, Nathalie Stephens, Darryan Gonzales, Chelsea Carey, Samantha Stephens, Addyson Carey; nephews Michael Dailey, Aaron Trujullo, Kameron Sanders, Julian Gonzales, Aidan Carey, Dawson Carey. Her memory will also be cherished by her deceased family members: mother Judith Christine Rodriguez; grandparents Amadeo Jose and Alice Maxine Valenica; grandparents Manuel de Atocha and Rose Rodriguez.
As we grieve the loss of Lisa from our earthly presence, let us carry forward the light she brought into our lives. May we find comfort in the memories we shared with her and hold dear the legacy of love and laughter she leaves behind.
A special thank you to all those who helped Lisa and her especially Guardian Angel Home Health and Hospice as well as Dr. Daniel Sabol.
Rest in peace, dear Lisa. You will be deeply missed but never forgotten. Until we meet again.
