Lois Mae Douglass

We are heartbroken to announce the death of our Mother, Lois Mae Douglass (nee Dover). She passed away at the age of 87 on July 10, 2022 surrounded by family and friends.

Lois was born in Little Rock, Arkansas on November 29, 1935 to Clayton and Marie Dover. She married Gerald Wayne "Jerry" Douglass on March 19, 1955 and they had 4 children. She came to Farmington in 1956.

Lois was a homemaker. She liked spending time with family and friends and always loved to travel on adventures. She was a huge Elvis fan even devoting a room to her collection of Elvis paraphernalia.

Lois was preceded in death by her parents, brothers George, Jearl, Doyle Wayne, and David "Vernon" and a grandson Douglass Roddy. She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Gerald Wayne "Jerry" Douglass, son William "Randy" Douglass, daughters Janet (Michael) Roddy, Renae Bowen, and Deanna (Jessie) Sandoval, her sisters Lorene Jones and Martha Hardin also grandchildren Shawna, Jennifer, Brandon, Preston and 8 great grandchildren. She also leaves behind many loved ones, family and friends.

A private ceremony will be held at a future date.
