Luetta (Lou) Fern Reidhead

Lou Passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by friends and family. June 1st, 2018. After her battle with lung cancer.

Lou was born February 17th, 1936 in Superior Arizona. To Frank and Fern Reidhead.

Lou was preceded in death by her Mother Fern Reidhead, Father Frank Reidhead, Sister and Brother In law Sheila and Tony Ball, Brother In laws Jack Duffy, Gary Watts ,Jack Lofton, Frank Lofton JR., Ted Glazebrook. Sister In law Helen Martin.

Lou is survived by her life partner Linda Tarno, Lou helped raise Linda two children. Robert Tarno his wife Cheryl, Robert’s two children Terra and Travis, Grand-daughter Kaylee, Thunder Adams, Thunder's daughter Shyla. Sisters Shirley Duffy, Frankie Wright her husband Guy Lindner, Reta Dunbar and husband Roy Ash, 24 nieces and nephews and numerous Great niece and nephews plus a whole circle of friends.

Lou was raised in Farmington New Mexico. She graduated from Farmington High School in 1953. Lou worked for the City of Farmington.

Lou enjoyed keeping her yard and gardens in immaculate condition (truly her pride and joy). She loved being outside. She spent many hours reading, playing card games with friends and family and going to the Casino. Lou was an avid softball player and coached women’s fast pitch softball,  and bowling in her younger years. When Lou was very young she had a horse named Queenie that she loved dearly. Lou has had many dogs over her lifetime that she loved and adored

There will be a memorial service for Lou Reidhead Friday, June 8th at 10AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 473 Road 6100 in Kirtland.
