Manuel Nockai Weahkee

Manuel Nockai Weahkee entered into this World on June 2, 2001, and passed on from this life on December 18, 2023. He is preceded in death by his son Julian Nockai Weahkee. Manuel is survived by his daughter Juniper Gallegos.

Manuel grew up in Blanco, New Mexico, you could find him outside every day. Hunting and fishing in the pond behind his house, chasing the wildlife and helping his dad with the livestock. His mama could never keep him inside. He’d always say, “I’m a Country boy”. It was his dream to make a living fishing or hunting. His dream was fulfilled when he became a Fly-Fishing Guide. He loved being in the water and the only time you could take his picture was with a Fish in hand. He was a natural talent on the water.

Manuel knew no strangers and had many friends everywhere of all ages. He was always willing to share his Fly-Fishing knowledge, and he was always willing to help out his friends and family.

He will be missed tremendously and will live forever in our hearts. God is merciful, God is good, God is Love, and he is at rest now forever.
