Tillie Jaquez

Tillie passed away peacefully at home on July 19, 2022, surrounded by loved ones. She was born April 30, 1931, in Gallina, NM to Serigo and Adelina Chacón. She was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Pete in 2015, her parents, her granddaughter Jennifer Barnett, sister Eufemia Jaquez, and her brother Joe Chacón.

She is survived by her six daughters, Cathy, Linda, Imelda, Rita, Janette, and Ruby. She is also survived by 12 beloved grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandaughter, and her siblings Maryann Maestas, Delma Cordova, Vangie Valdez, Cosmé Chacón, Fulgencio Chacón, and JB Chacón.

Tillie was a humble, sweet, and kind woman. Her Catholic faith and family were of utmost importance to her. She was a devout member of St. Mary's Catholic Church where she attended Mass daily and served as a volunteer in many different capacities. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

A Rosary will be held at St. Mary's Catholic Church located on 20th st. in Farmington at 10:30am with Mass at 11:00am on Wednesday July 27, 2022. Interment to take place at Memory Gardens Cemetery. A reception will follow the burial at the parish hall at St. Mary's Catholic Church.
