Theresa Mary Marez-Esquibel

Farmington - Passed away unexpectedly at 65 in Farmington, NM on May 2, 2022. She went home to our heavenly father and our loved ones. Theresa was born October 18, 1956, in Durango Colorado, to her parents Walter and Ruby Marez.

Theresa lived a very fulfilling life. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. Theresa owned Theresa's Curio for years where she sold jewelry, silver, gold ect. She was a musician for many years, she loved to play the guitar and sing and followed her music everywhere. She was always the first to start singing at a family gathering! She enjoyed a variety of music and loved to dance.

Theresa will be joining her husband Felipe Esquibel, her parents Walter and Ruby Marez, her grandparents Miguel and Antonita Cordova, and Marcario and Ruben Marez, her sisters Mary Gladys Marez, and Elsie Carmelita Marez- Hernandez, her brother Harold Marez, and other family members and friends.

She is survived by her children, Danny Esquibel, Issac (Jamey) Esquibel, and grandchildren, Taishja Esquibel and Tayli Esquibel. As well as her sister Cruzita Marez (Jorge) Covarubios. Nieces and nephews, Stephanie (Gabe) Gutierrez, Sharon Maestas (Marcial Enriquez), Melissa (David) Pearce, Jacob Lobato, Tim (Jenny) Lobato, Tangy (Mike) Spencer and Kevin (Melissa) Shirley. Along with many great nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. She also leaves behind her 2 dogs, Lightening and Baby. Baby went everywhere with her.

Funeral services for Theresa will be on Saturday, May 14th, 2022, at Farmington Funeral Home in Farmington, NM at 10 A.M. Reception to follow. Please join us in the celebration of Theresa's life
