Mary Elizabeth "Liz" Maestas-McCabe

Mary Elizabeth “Liz” Maestas-McCabe 63, Born in Los Angeles on 3/31/1959, CA and raised in Pagosa Springs, CO. She passed peacefully on 4/9/2022 in her home with her husband by her side.

Liz leaves behind her wonderful husband Michael. A daughter Ariane (Luke) Sullivan. A son Martin (Melanie) Archuleta, two step-sons Michael, and John McCabe, and a step-daughter Jennifer McCabe. Four wonderful Grandchildren: Taelor Larkins, Ryan Sullivan, Aspen Archuleta, Isa Lovato. Her mother Maria (Terrie) Maestas, Sister’s Dorothy “Dotti” (Jesse) O’Neill, Josie (Richard) Litle. And Nephew Ryan (Lilliana) Roller, Niece Ammber (Louis) Valdez. And numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her father Fridolin H. Maestas and brother Gilbert F. Maestas.

Liz was a retired Realtor who enjoyed working with her hands being an avid gardener with her husband and doing arts and crafts.  She will be missed by those who loved and cherished her.

A celebration of her life is scheduled for 10:00 am Friday April 14th, 2023. at Scared Heart Catholic Church, 410 Allen Ave, Farmington, NM in conjunction with the Memorial Mass of her Dear Father Fridolin "Floyd" Hiberaldo Maestas who passed away on February 16, 2023.
