Mary Miramontes

Mary Ellen Miramontes 54, received her angel wings on November 14 2021 surrounded by her loved ones. Mary was born May 30th 1967 to Alma Bunch & Butch Scott. Mary was an incredible mother to her 3 kids Kateri Werito (Harrison), Moriah Werito & her son Truby Werito Jr (TJ) (Sheyenne) She was a loving and caring wife to her husband Pedro Miramontes & grandma to her 3 dear grand-babies ( Darius, Isabel & Kylo). A beloved sister to her siblings Donna Martin, Brenda Sorrell, Billy Gassaway, Lisa Valdez & Patricia Anderson. Mary had an extensive career throughout her life she worked as a bar tender at the wooden nickel, also at 7211, Gas Man and Sam's Club. Throughout her career she made many friends whom she considered her family. She was a straight forward sharped tongue woman and didn't hesitate to tell you the how it was. She had a love greater than herself and expressed it by providing to her entire family and helping others at any given time. She mothered many kids that weren't her own but she treated them and took care of them as they were. Her love for cooking was great. She enjoyed spending her time with her daughter kateri and baby girl Isabel and grandson Darius, and looked forward to her visiting kids & family from Utah. Mary was preceded in death by her brother Billy gassaway. She is survived by her 2 daughters and son, 3 grandkids, her dad and stepmom Butch & Gloria Scott, her husband, sisters and numerous nieces and nephews that she was always Aunt Mary to whom she loved dearly. Services for Mary will be Friday December 3rd at 10 am at the Farmington Funeral home followed by a celebration of life at the St Marys Parish hall in Bloomfield NM at 12pm
