Mary Agnes “Gig” De Soto Williams, 85, of Farmington, New Mexico, passed away on October 30, 2023, in Farmington, New Mexico. Mary was born on June 27, 1938, in Albuquerque New Mexico, to parents Solomon and Liebe De Soto

Mary Agnes “Gig” De Soto Williams passed away peacefully at home. She was educated in Albuquerque through high school and college when she met and married Eugene R Williams to start a family. She continued higher education at San Juan Collage graduating with an associate degree in Banking Administration spring of 1999. She was employed by First National Bank that merged to Wells Fargo in Farmington until retirement. She was a devout member of the Catholic Faith and attended church at St Mary’s Catholic Church, active in the singing group, prayer chain and various other church groups. She enjoyed arts and crafts as a hobby, volunteering at several organizations along with being with friends and family.

Preceded in death by her grandparents, mother Liebe Baca De Soto, Father Solomon De Soto, daughter Rebecca Jill Williams, son Mark Eugene Williams, ex-husband Eugene Ralph Williams, her two brothers and two sisters.

She was survived by her sons, their wives, and families. Ralph and Jennifer Williams, Kenneth and Mary Williams, Ronald Williams, Tony and Kayelynn Williams, Andrew and Summer Williams. Her Grandchildren Savanna Williams, Lauren Williams, Grace Williams, Ciara Montgomery, Caden Williams, Cody Wyland, Daren Williams, and Alissa Williams. Her great grandchildren Che Williams and Draiven Montgomery.

Services will be held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Farmington, NM at 10:00am, Monday November 13, 2023. Followed by burial at Greenlawn Cemetery at 12:30pm. The Family will be hosting a reception at St. Mary’s Catholic Church following burial.
