Mateo Kevin Franco Nevarez

Mateo Kevin Franco Nevarez, 26 days old, of Aztec, New Mexico, passed away on August 9, 2023, in Aztec, New Mexico. Mateo was born on July 14, 2023, in Durango, Colorado, to parents Juan and Maria Nevarez.

Mateo came into this world on July 14, 2023, at 11:30am. Mateo was a tiny little 5lbs 13oz and 18 ½ inches bundle of Joy. Mateo was an Irish twin to his big sister Juliette. Mateo was also “best friends” to his big brother James. Mateo loved to snuggle up on his daddy’s chest and watch him with his beautiful dark blue eyes. Mateo loved “Mommy time” during feeding. Mateo had the longest little fingers and the biggest little feet that everyone loved. Mateo will be deeply missed and forever loved.

Mateo is preceded by his grandfather Juan Nevarez Franco.

Mateo is survived by his parents Juan and Maria Nevarez, brother James Ricciardi, sister Juliette Nevarez, grandparents Kevin and Crystal Black, and Helda Nevarez, including many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, September 1, 2023, at 11:00am at the First Baptist Church, 700 Navajo Avenue, Aztec, NM. All are welcome to attend.
