Matthew Lee Lenocker, 34, of Aztec, New Mexico, passed away on September 21, 2024, in Flora Vista, New Mexico.
Matthew was born on April 20, 1990, in Farmington, New Mexico, to parents Maggie Templeton & Thomas Lee Lenocker.
Matthew loved nothing more than spending time with his daughter Jayne. They loved hill hopping, taking road trips together, hunting, and camping. He showed Jayne what true adventure was. He also took great pride in the work he did as a Heavy Equipment Operator in Colorado and Texas.
Matthew was always a helping hand to family and friends around him. He loved spending time in the mountains hiking to waterfalls and enjoying the chill Colorado air. He looked forward to spending his summers at the lake with friends and family. He especially enjoyed spending time on the boat and throwing kids off the tube. You could always find Matt on a nearby dance floor showing off his moves.
Matthew also loved spending time in Texas, with his uncle and cousins hunting pigs, deer, and frogs. Matthew was a fun and joyful spirit. He always made everyone around him smile and laugh, and that was what brought him the most joy.
Matthew Lenocker is survived by his daughter Jayne Lenocker, his beloved parents Maggie (Chuck) Templeton, and Tom (Sarah) Lenocker, siblings Taffnie and Chad Anderson, Kaitlynn and Steve Strang, and Trace Lenocker, his grandparents, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many beloved family and friends.
