Matthew Marquez

Matthew Brian Marquez, 38 of Farmington NM went to be with our Lord on Sat. Feb 10th 2018. He was born March 26th 1979 in Farmington NM. A viewing will be held Friday the 16th of Feb. from 6-7PM. A memorial service will be held after the viewing for family and friends to share their most cherished memories with Matthew. The funeral service will be at 1PM on Saturday Feb 17th. All services will be held at New Life in Christ Church at 1108 N. Dustin in Farmington NM.

He grew up in Farmington NM and was a graduate of Farmington High. He went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology and Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from UNM. He worked with his community at St. Martin's in Albuquerque before returning to Farmington to be with his family. Matthew loved his family and friends and was known to make friends with any and all who crossed his path. He enjoyed the outdoors with his beloved dog Nala, fishing, camping and playing sports. He is survived by his Father and Mother, Stephen P. Marquez, Nikki G. Marquez, sister Evie Marquez, and Nephews, Nathan Roe, Bradley Roe and Ryan Johnson, Grandmother Maria R. Sanchez and numerous extended family, uncles, aunts and cousins.
