Max Luna

Maximinio G. Luna (Max), 85, passed away at his home in Bloomfield, New Mexico surrounded by his loving family on October 28th 2019. Max was born on September 24th 1934 in Turley, NM. He married the love of his life, Sharon on December 17th 1957. The two were married two months shy of 62 years! Together they built their home and raised their family in Bloomfield, NM. Max loved being outside whether he was hunting, fishing, camping, gathering fire wood or building something from nothing. Max was a hard worker and took great pride in everything he did. He was also very proud of his family and their accomplishments. Max is proceeded in death by his parents: Gil and Adelia Luna, his loving in-laws Russell and Bette Rockett, two brothers Joe and Jerry Luna, one sister Irene Montoya. He is survived by his loving and caring wife Sharon, one son Russell and his wife Connie, one daughter Debbie Lambert and her husband Richard. Max had six grand children: Ryan LeFebre (Margaret), Bryan LeFebre, Ricci Mcalvain (Ty), Zack Lambert, Daymon Luna (Nikki), and Daysha Luna (Justin). He had six great grand children with another one on the way. Max is also survived by two sisters: Mary Sanchez and Angie Erickson, along with many nieces and nephews. In honor of Max's wishes cremation has taken place and a celebration of his life will be at the Bloomfield St. Mary's Catholic church hall on November 3rd @ 1:00.
