Maxine Goff

Maxine Gladys Goff aged 96 of Farmington, NM passed from this life July 18, 2023. She was born June 13, 1927, in Dove Creek, CO. to Albert and Myrtle Wancura.

Maxine was preceded in death by her husband Marion Goff, her two sons Duane Goff and Larry Goff as well as parents Albert and Myrtle Wancura and brothers Frank and Wayne Wancura.

She is survived her daughter Linda Goff and daughters-in-law LeAnna Goff (Nebraska) and Sheri Goff as well as two grandchildren Donella Goff and Patrick Goff.

Maxine attended college in Boulder, Colorado. Then attended college at Fort Lewis College. She received a BA Fort Lewis College. Maxine taught typing and accounting at Navajo Prep School. She volunteered during registration at San Juan College and she did income taxes at the Senior Citizens Center in Farmington as well as the bookkeeper at Payless Grocery. Maxine liked to work outside in her garden and flower bed.

I would like to give a big thank you Dr. Debauche, Dr. Hancock and the staff at San Juan Regional Medical Center for the excellent care you gave. The staff at Gensis San Juan Center for the excellent care. A huge thank you to all the staff at the Bridge for Assisted Living for the wonderful care you gave for the last three and half years.

Services have been scheduled for Saturday June 29, 2023 at 10:00 am located at Riverstone Methodist Church 808 N. Monterey Ave. Farmington, New Mexico.

In lieu of flowers, instead make a donation to the American Heart Association.
