Melba Rose Frame (Melba Rose Cundiff)

July 13, 1934 – October 19, 2024

Melba Rose Frame, a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on October 19, 2024. She was 90 years old.

Born on July 13, 1934, in Bayfield Colorado. Melba spent her life serving and loving those around her. Her generosity, thoughtfulness and selflessness defined her character. She had a special place in her heart for children and was known for her radiant smile and resilient spirit.

Melba’s greatest joys were found in her family and in creating a warm welcoming home.

She cherished knitting, crocheting, and cooking. Her house was always a hub of love and delicious food, especially during the holidays. From Camping to rodeoing, she found great joy in seeing her kids and grandkids creating lasting memories.

She is preceded in death by her beloved Husband, Troy Frame, to whom she was married for 58 years. She is survived by her children, Kathy Crangle and her husband Bruce, Dennis Frame and his wife Karen, and her brothers johnny and Wayne Cundiff, and her sister Marie Dollar. Her legacy lives on in her grandchildren, all of whom she cherished dearly.

It’s difficult to think of a moment in her life that wasn’t devoted to others. Melba thrived in her career as a school cook for district 9-R for 28 years, where she served hot homemade meals to kids and left a big impression on all those who met through school. 

She gave so much of herself to her family and those around her, always with a smile on her face.

A graveside service will be held on October 22, 2024 at 3 PM at the Bayfield Cemetery where friends and family will gather to celebrate her life legacy.
