Michael Beasley

Michael Beasley

On Saturday morning, January 16th, 2021, Michael Roy Beasley, 67, peacefully went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Mike was born August 28, 1953 in Mt Rainer, Maryland to Melvin and Laura Beasley. Mike lived in various cities and states but eventually made Farmington his home in 1980 where he and his wife Janet raised their family. His love was construction. He pursued his dream of becoming a general contractor, owning his own business, Beasley’s Construction and Maintenance which served the Four Corners area for almost 20 years.

He was a hard worker, fighter, not one to give excuses and taught those values to his two children, Luke and Lauren, and many other young men in the church. He was a man’s man. He was a kind and gentle husband, and probably one of the best father’s a child could ask for. There were many people whose lives he impacted with his life lessons, companionships and carpentry skills that he was able to use in his church home. He was a father figure to many young men and taught them how to be men too.

Michael was preceded in death by his parents Laura and Melvin Beasley, nephew Robby Smith, sisters Bonnie Jackowski Bruce, Joyce Gardner, and grandson Hunter Roberts respectively. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Janet, children Luke (Ashley), Lauren (JJ) Roberts, five grandchildren, brothers Richard and Robert Beasley and sister Nancy Smith, numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

Cremation has been chosen. A Celebration of Life will be held February 6th, 2021 at 10:30 AM at The Potters House, 400 E Gladden Dr Farmington NM 87401. Pastor David Maldonado will be officiating the service.
