Michael Gonzales

It is with great sadness that the family of Michael Gonzales announces his passing on Saturday, March 23, 2019, at the age of 62. He was born on September 29, 1956 and raised in Albuquerque, NM. Michael will be forever remembered by his wife and best friend, Melissa and their precious children, Michael and Evangeline, his father Paul Gonzales, Sister Teresa Sanchez (Ray) and brother David Gonzales. Michael will also be forever remembered by his numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and dear friends. Michael is preceded in death by his mother, Frances Gonzales and brother Simon Gonzales.

Michael lived with his family in Flora Vista, NM. He recently retired after 23 years working in the oil fields. He was devoted to his family. He loved spending time with his family and friends. He was known for his one of a kind personality that brought joy to all that knew him. Michael proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corp as a jet mechanic/plane captain during the Vietnam War. Semper Fi.

The Gonzales family wishes to express their deepest gratitude for the outpouring of love and support. Michael will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
