Michael Pronio

Michael Pronio last his battle with cancer Wednesday, August 8, 2018. Michael was in his home in Farmington, N.M. The home he purchased with his then wife Sandra Vigil 32 years ago, the same home his mother passed away in 20 years earlier.

He was born in Hominy, Oklahoma in 1958 and moved to Farmington, N.M. in the 7th grade where he attended Tibbetts Jr. High. He graduated Farmington High School in 1977. He joined the United States Army right after high school and served honorably.

He is proceeded in death by his mother Nadine Pronio. His Aunt and Uncle, Betty and Sid Shook. His in-laws, Reyes and Rufina Vigil. He is survived by his former wife, friend, love, and companion Sandra Vigil. He is survived by cousins Sidney Ann Jones, Jennifer Jones, Dana Schacter, Melody May, Kathleen Brooks, Vanessa Legere, Becky Rivera. Numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Sandra would like to thank the nurses from Basin Health and the staff at San Juan Oncology for their dedication and compassion. She will be forever grateful to family and friends for being with her and helping during this very difficult time.

Honorary Pallbearers are Dale Harrison, Vicki Henkey, Linda Tillson, Roosevelt Walker. Services will be held at Oasis Church, 1601 N. Dustin Ave #B, Farmington, N.M. 87401, August 21st, 2018 @ 11:00 a.m., lunch to follow.
