Monica Nicole Townsend, 44, of Aztec, New Mexico, passed away on June 12, 2024, in Aztec, New Mexico. Monica was born on April 22, 1979, in Aurora, Colorado, to parents Caroline Gayle Poe and Rodney Townsend.

Monica was a remarkable woman, a proud mother of three kids who had a profound love of Roses and painting. Her adventurous and carefree spirit brought joy to those around her. Tragically, she passed away leaving behind a legacy that continues to inspire and touch the hearts of many.

Monica’s memory lives on through the beauty she created and the lives she touched.

Monica is preceded by her parents Caroline Poe and Rodney Townsend, and Grandmother Mary Jean Miller.

Monica is survived by her sons Domenic Arellano, and Tyler Yates, daughter Melena Montano, brother Joshua Dreiling, and sister Laura Martinez.
