Norman Dale Harmon was called to meet his Heavenly Father on September 26, 2024, at the age of 62. He was born on December 31, 1961, in Bloomington, Indiana to Daylene and Bill Harmon. He was a long-time resident of Farmington, New Mexico.
Norman was welcomed into heaven by his parents, Daylene and Bill Harmon, his wife Dawn, his brother Ron, his grandson Josh, and granddaughter Gianna.
Norman Harmon was one of the most compassionate and unselfish people you could meet. He would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. Norman worked in the oil field and as a truck driver. He made an impact on every person he met. He couldn’t walk into a store without knowing someone or someone knowing him. He loved to spend his free time visiting with family, camping in the mountains, exploring new trails in his side-by-side, working on vehicles, and breakfast every Saturday at Weck’s with his son, grandson, and nephew.
Norman will be greatly missed by his large family. Norman is survived by his fiancé, Jeanie Chavez, his 2 brothers, Tim and Greg, his sister, Billie, Aunt Donna, his 2 sons Jamie and Nathan, his 3 daughters, Sarah, Shelly and Chastity, 12 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Celebration of life and potluck will be held on Saturday, September 28, 2024, from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm at Calvary Chapel of Farmington main sanctuary located at 6925 E. Main Street, Farmington, NM 87402.
