Orlando L. Armijo, 69, of Farmington, New Mexico, passed away on June 25, 2024, in Farmington, New Mexico. Orlando was born on July 9, 1954, in Albuquerque, New Mexico to parents Petronila (Lilly) Armijo & Diego Armijo.
Orlando Armijo was Amazing Husband to his wife of 52 years he always put his family first. He started working in the oilfield at 17 years old, where he worked as a Driller and a Well Tech until he was forced into retirement in 2010 when he had received a liver and kidney transplant. In retirement he enjoyed spending time with his family and spoiling his grandchildren. He also spent his time working in his yard and planting plants for his wife and mother-in-law. He will always be remembered as the caring, hardworking family man we know. Who will always live in our hearts, our rock!
Orlando is preceded by his parents Petronila (Lilly) Armijo, and grandparents Leopoldo Apodaca, and Natividad Apodaca.
Orlando is survived by his wife Esmeralda Armijo, son Orlando (Silent) Armijo, daughters Sonia (Jesse) Martinez, and Ashley Lovato, parents Cecilia Granadino (mother-in-law), whom he loved very much, brother Steve (Melissa) Apodaca, sister Nina (Reuben) Martinez, grandchildren Benito Armijo, DeAngelo Lovato, Emilio Wade, Jazzy Lovato, Javian Lovato, including numerous nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
