Patricia Ann Lyle

Patricia Ann Lyle, age 75 of Farmington, NM formerly of Round Rock, Texas passed away on Tuesday January 21, 2025. Patricia was born on January 21, 1950, in Cookeville, Tennessee to Robert Anderson Lyle and Margaret Ruth Morris. Patricia was a celebrated oil painter and porcelain artist known for her “soft soulful portraits and sweeping landscapes,” which were exhibited nationally and graced walls across Texas and worldwide. She earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Studio Painting and Journalism from the University of Georgia and a Master of Public Administration from the University of Tennessee. Patricia taught art classes in Round Rock and Central Texas, inspiring budding artists. Passionate about family, friends, travel, live music, and art she once said, “Color is another language, expressing feeling better than words.”

She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Badgley, her sons: Matthew Steffan and Luke Steffan and her parents Robert and Margaret Lyle. Surviving are her sons: Noah John Steffan and wife Stephanie Steffan, Zackary Lyle Steffan and wife Meredith Steffan, Robert Henry Badgley and wife Lynn Badgley, Andrew Robert Badgley. Daughter: Kristen Sue Badgley and granddaughters, Milana Sturtz, Nicolette Sturtz and Vivian Sturtz. Sister: Mary Chenoweth and husband Brian Widerski. Niece: Whitney Mancini and husband Giacomo Mancini, parents of grandniece Olive Mincini. Niece: Rachael Lyle-Thompson and husband Michael Thompson, parents to grandniece Nadine Thompson.
