Patricia Lynn White

January 9, 1943 — October 18, 2024

Farmington, New Mexico

Patricia Lynn White, 81, of Farmington, passed away peacefully at her home on October 18, 2024. She was born on January 9, 1943 in Kingman, AZ to Noel M. & Charlotte E. Epperson and lived in Chloride, AZ. In December of 1949 they later relocated to Elfrida, AZ where she grew up helping in the family grocery store The Valley Mercantile. She was voted “Most Likely To Become” First Lady President in her senior year of high school, which would have fit her go-getter attitude.
Patsy met the love of her life, Larry P. White in January of 1962. Larry traveled to Elfrida for work as a farmer, and must of walked into the grocery store when he met Pat and the rest was history. They wed on September 28, 1962 and remained married for over 62 years before her passing. They enjoyed going out dancing and playing cards with close friends. Pat and Larry welcomed two boys Randy and Bruce White and years later relocated to Farmington, NM.
Their legacy together included two sons, Randy P. White and William B. (Bruce) White, three grandchildren, Chad Vecellio, Megan Anthony and Kayla White, one great grandchild, Mallory Anthony and her second great grandchild Baby Anthony coming in January of 2025.
Pat loved to play just about any card game you could think of and would meet up annually with her three best friends JoCarol, Beth and Nellie and play all weekend long laughing and catching up. On Tuesday afternoons, you would find her at the Elks Lodge playing Dominoes with her other great friend, Betty Glover. She also enjoyed crossword puzzles(which she was very good at). Thursdays consisted of bowling night with her girlfriends, and also getting to watch her son bowl a few perfect 300 games, which she was so proud of. She was everyones biggest cheerleader and showed up to every ball game or event you had, and would never forget the snacks and a drink for afterwards. She was more than just Pat, she was Meme to so many and the type of grandma that became everyones grandma.
Pat enjoyed being in the garden in the backyard that Larry still harvests each year, with PLENTY of “maters” to put on every meal and her snapdragon flowers that he made sure to plant every season. Even up until her final months with us, you would have to go out and tell her to stop pulling weeds(which she loved to do for some odd reason) and come in the house. She could talk your ear off and she never knew a stranger.
Patsy was preceded in death by her parents, Noel M. And Charlotte E. Epperson, and son, William B.(Bruce) White. Patsy survived by her husband, Larry P. White, son, Randy P. White(Jennifer), grandchildren and great grandchildren, brother, William G. Epperson(Susie), niece, Kathryn Young(Justin), nephews, Michael Epperson(Caryn), Gregory Epperson(Sophia).
