Patsy A. Baumgardner-Easley, age 74, passed away from this life, surrounded by her family on Thursday, February 21, 2019. She was born on September 29, 1944 in Mena, Arkansas to Ray J. Powell and Sylvia Irene Powell. Patsy graduated from Ignacio High School in 1962. On September 22, 1962, she married Ted Baumgardner. During their marriage they had three children, Kenneth, Tami and Tanya. On June 14, 2004 Patsy married her best friend Tommy Easley. Together, they spent nearly 30 years enjoying horn hunting, camping, and trail rides on the horses and ATVs as well as her passion for spending time with family and friends. Patsy was an accomplished quilter and seamstress and loved to quilt with her friends. She worked for many years at Safeway and Furr’s where she befriended numerous co-workers. Patsy loved raising her family, tending to her grandchildren and caring for God’s creation through planting trees and gardening. She spent much of her free time watching her grandchildren’s extracurricular activities, having lunch with friends or family, talking on the telephone to friends, and cooking or canning with her daughters. She is survived by her beloved husband, Tom; son, Kenney (Jodi), and daughters, Tami (Edward), Tanya (Brad); nine grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 1, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. with a public viewing at 10:00 a.m. at First Presbyterian Church, 865 N. Dustin Avenue in Farmington. Her earthly remains will be interred following the services at Greenlawn Cemetery.
