Ramonsita Sanchez

Ramonsita Sanchez, 86 of Bloomfield passed on January 13, 2025.

 She was born in Farmington, NM on October 18, 1938, to Frank and Jacobita Gonzales Ramonsita attended sacred heart school. She worked for several organizations including southern union and gas, western tire and the office of the governor of NM Jerry Apodaca.

Ramonsita was preceded in death by her father Frank and her Mother Jacobita, All seven of her siblings her Husband Jesse Martinez and her husband Joe Sanchez her children Raymond Martinez and Marilyn Benedict.

She is survived by her children Jeff Martinez (Aemi) Chris Martinez (Molly) and Julian Martinez and her son-in-law Paul Benedict. She has 16 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. 

The rosary will be held at 6:00 PM Friday January 24th at St. Rose of Lima Catholic church in Blanco, NM. The Funeral and interment will be at 11:00 AM Saturday January 25th at the St. Rose of Lima catholic church in Blanco, NM. A meal will follow interment at the St. Rose Hall

Her family ask that instead of flowers a donation be made in her memory to the Little sisters of the poor in Gallup, NM or Monastery of our lady of the desert in Gobenador, NM.
