Reginald A. Yagle age 80 of Farmington, New Mexico passed from this life on December 18, 2023. He was born to Rita Phylis Gauthier and Kenneth Carl Yagle on June 8, 1943, in Traverse City, MI.
Reginald was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and best friend. Everyone who met him became his friend. He had a great sense of humor no matter he felt. In high school he started at Max's Services and later learned appliance repair. He moved to Wyoming and started working at Arch Mineral. When he moved to Farmington, NM he worked in the oil field at C&J Backhoe, which later was changed to Tierra Corrosion. He retired in 2007. In 2008, he married his wife as "this is my bride" and continued to until he passed. In July, they celebrated 15 years together and his 80th birthday with family and friends. He enjoyed retirement, being with family and friends, being a grandpa, working on beautiful stained glass, and working on cars. When he could no longer work on cars, a friend and his son-in-law came to help. His granddaughter, Clarisa tried teaching technology, but he was an old soul and couldn't be trained. He enjoyed playing with cars with his grandson, Remington, and telling him all about cars. Remington enjoyed this time and always looks for his papa. Reginald will be greatly missed, and we were so blessed to have him in our lives.
Reginald is preceded in death by his parents and his sister Donna Wagner.
He is survived by his wife, Susan J. Lucero, his children James Yagle, Kenneth Yagle, Christopher Lucero Jacqueline Richards, Christina Randall, Cynthia Lucero, Ashley Lucero, and Trinity Wagoner as well as his sisters Lonnie Buell, Jan Foutz, and Claudette Wood. He had eight grandchildren, and also five grandchildren that he spent time with, Clarisa, Bryton, Genesis, Remington and Easton and 6 great grandchildren.
A celebration of life is planned for Saturday, June 8, 2024, at 4:30pm at the Aztec Seventh Day Adventist Church, 240 Heritage Lane, Aztec, New Mexico. All are welcome to attend.
