Richard Williams

Rick Williams, 73, left this earth on March 23, 2024, in Durango, Colorado. He was born in Montclair, New Jersey, February 25, 1951 where he grew up with his parents and brother.

Rick was a hardworking man who dedicated the majority of his adult life to working as an automotive mechanic. He also had a passion for cinematography, videography, writing, and ballooning. His adventurous spirit led him to explore the skies in his beloved balloons and the highways on his bike. He was a motorcycle enthusiast with love for his Harleys over the years, building them and riding them with many organizations. He could also be counted on to entertain his family and friends with his music, singing and playing his guitar at many family get togethers and venues.

Rick is survived by his brother Michael A. Williams (Meredith), daughters Tina Kasper (Chris), Jamie Felkner (Kevin), Samantha Kennedy (Chris), Crystal Salvador (Joe). Grandchildren Alyssa Campbell, Destiny Williams, Kevyn Schaffer, Kiele Felkner, Clayton Cowan, Christian Felkner, Madison Piche, and Liam Wilson. Great Grandchildren Isabella, Viviana, Kellie, and Kate. He was preceded in death by his mother Dorthea Andrae in 1982 and father Roy Williams in 1978.

Rick obtained his Associates in Telecommunications from Pima College, showcasing his dedication to learning and growing throughout his life.

A service to honor Rick's life will be held at Farmington Funeral Home in Farmington, NM, on Tuesday, April 2nd, at 1:00 pm. The Farmington Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements for the service.

Rick will be remembered for his love for adventure, his passion for family, music, motorcycles, and his creative pursuits. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
