Robert Wells, 63, of Bloomfield passed away March 8th. He was born September 12, 1954 in Farmington, NM to Loran & Betty Lou Wells.
Robert "Bobby" Wells graduated from Aztec High School in 1973. After working a brief time, he proudly entered the Marine Corp, and served for 2 years. He returned to the Four Corners area that he has considered home most of his life. He worked mostly in the energy industry; oil field and power plants until May of 2017 until he was forced to retire due to health concerns. Bobby loved his country, the outdoors, his motorcycles, fishing, hunting, and exploring, especially with his family. He loved his friends, his community, and children, and would do anything to help a friend or child in need. Most of all he loved life and believed you should live it to the fullest!
Bobby was preceded in death by his parents Loran B Wells and Betty Lou Tyrrell, brothers, Kevin Dale Wells and Loran William Wells.
He is survived by his wife, Charlene Wells, son, Sean Dustin Wells, Daughters, Nicole Hilbers (Shane), Alanna Wells, & Marsha Dunlap (Michael), brother, James Morey, sisters, Roxanne Tyrrell (Larry Jaquez) & Jeanne Leirke, grandchildren, Seth Wells (Ashley Hicks), Aspen Frizzell, Jaren McBride, Isabell Wells, Colin Wells, Joshua Wells, Karter-Newby Wells, MeMarie Wells, Kaytlin Dunlap, Adelyn Dunlap, Bubba James Dunlap, great-grandchildren, Joseph Wells, and numerous nieces and nephews that he loved dearly.
A memorial service will be Saturday, March 17th at 2pm at McGee park in the Multi-Purpose Building.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Marine Corp Toys for Tots Program.
