Our beloved Roberta Adela Sanchez known as “Bobbie,” was called home to The Lord on March 6th, 2025, at the age of 56. She was born on September 23rd, 1968, in Farmington.
Bobbie had an unshakable presence and was a light to those around her. She adored her family and friends and was very close to her immediate family. During her school days she played volleyball on the women’s volleyball team and sang in choir.
She later found a career in keeping records of business financial activities and bookkeeping and working with numbers were things she enjoyed.She also worked as a legal assistant.
A few of her favorite things to do were crocheting, making outdoor Christmas light balls, and cooking for family gatherings. She was always up for a good laugh, and she loved music.
She is known for her strength and patience in all circumstances, even during some of her most challenging times health wise.
Bobbie is preceded in death by her grandparents Hilario and Amalia Sanchez, Abran and Adela Marquez, and her beloved nephew Robert L. Sanchez, Jr.
She is survived by her beloved daughter Patricia Payne, father, Abran Sanchez, mother, Toni Sanchez, brother, Robert Sanchez (Carol), and sister Janine Sanchez.
She is also survived by many nieces and nephews that she adored: Robin (Ronnie Tucson ), Abriana (Valentino Charlie), Orlando Sanchez, and great nieces and nephews, Matthew Tucson (Denise), Patrice Trujillo (Carlos), Kimberly Noble (Jarrod ), Ariah Charlie, Ajah Charlie, Aniesah Charlie, Roman Charlie, Adelyn Trujillo, Brooklyn Trujillo, and Gianna Noble along with many other aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Please join us in celebrating her life with us. A Rosary will be held on Saturday, March 15th, 2025, at 10:00 AM at St. Mary’s Parish in Farmington, followed with a Celebration of Life mass at 11:00 AM.
Bobbie will be remembered for her big heart, vibrant personality, and her strength.
May she watch over us until we meet again one sweet day.
