Robert (Bob) Scott 67 was called to Heaven on August 23, 2021. He was born to Von and Betty Scott on March 20,1954 in Farmington NM. Bob graduated from Kirtland High School in 1973.
Bob is survived by his siblings Katharine Jenkins, John (Donna) Scott, Vona (Joe) Baio, June (Brian) Shay and numerous nieces and nephews.
Bob lived a full life. He loved to travel and experience all that God had to offer. Bob was an avid Horticulturist. He started Scotts Greenhouse shortly after graduating. He did that for several years before moving to California to work and go to school. Bob worked as a computer programmer for 10 years. He became a general contractor in 1988. In 1996 he graduated with an A.S. in Anthropology and a certificate of accomplishment in Archeology. In 2004 he started a Giant Tortoise Ranch, one of his passions after visiting the Galapagos Islands. Bob loved to write. He wrote many poems and several books which he had published. He was currently working on his Autobiography.
Bob struggled with his health for so many years, but he never let it stop him from accomplishing things he wanted to do. He was always kind and giving. You never left his house empty handed. He had a beautiful smile and a witty sense of humor. He will be missed by many! We Love you Bob and look forward to seeing you again.
Cremation has taken place and memorial service will be held at 10am on October 25th at the LDS Church 4400 College Blvd. in Farmington. In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations be made to the Parkinson's Foundation.
