Robin Garcia

Robin Renee Garcia was born in Espanola, N.M. on August 20th, 1966. She was the first child to Rosie and Richard Rash.

Robin grew up in Chama, N.M. with her mother and two younger sisters. She attended Escalente High School in Tierra Amarilla. As a teenager, she would travel to Grand Junction, CO to spend time with her father, Richard, young sister and family. She often talked about how she loved these trips and how every time was an adventure. Robin loved music growing up. You could find her with her best friends at a concert.

In 1983, Robin would have her first child and in the 1990s have three more children. Robin loved all of her family very much and one of her proudest moments was becoming a grandmother. She was so proud of all her grandchildren and happiest when she was around them.

She always enjoyed the company of her family and closest friends. She could light up any room, she had the best sense of humor, and could make anyone laugh. She was so generous and would literally give her last dollar to anyone who needed it.

She was a beautiful woman, mother, grandmother, sister, daughter, tia, and friend.
Her light and presence will be dearly missed.
