Ronald L Eberman, 04/24/41 to 09/12/2024
Ronald was born in Mapleton Depot, PA to Helen Doyle Eberman and William Eberman. They moved to Warren OH when Ron was a toddler. He grew up in neighborhood with kids that remained friends all their lives. He had shared many stories of their adventures he loved to share with us. From 1963 to 1969 he served in the Army Reserves at Fort Benning Georgia. In 1965 he met Patricia Hopta and they married in 1966. They have two daughters Kimberly Eberman Garcia and Melissa Eberman LaFave. Ron started his work career in the Steel Industry where he worked as a heavy equipment mechanic for 33 years at Republic Steel/LTV/WCI retiring in 2002. Ron enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a member of the Western Reserve Fish and Game Club, as well as the gun club. Ron served as a member of many organizations. He was a lifetime member of the Lions Club in Lordstown OH were he was President of the chapter. He managed the Bingo, Easter Egg Hunts and the Famous Apple Cider Festival, the Army- Navy Garrison 252. Where he served as Honor Guard and played on the softball team, and The Niles Moose Lodge. After his move to PA in 2014 he joined Jefferson Twp. PA Lions Club. Ron loved being with his wife Pat and daughters Kim and Missy. He lovingly referred to them as his girls. He enjoying taking fishing and camping, Sunday rides to the lake to feed the geese, and relaxing in the pool.
Ron is survived by his wife Patricia Eberman, Daughters Kimberly (Antonio) Garcia. Missy LaFave, Grandchildren, Melina (Sparky) and Bella Schneider & Jessica and David Garcia, Sister Rita Gardner and Nephew Robert Gardner.
According to his wishes cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
