Rudy Escojeda

Rudy R. Escojeda, 77 of Farmington, passed away November 30, 2021. He was born on July 13, 1944 in Gallup, NM to Victorio Escojeda and Laura Torres.

Rudy loved being a father and a grandfather. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and loved his truck. He also enjoyed working in the yard, taking care of the garden and staying busy.

Rudy was preceded in death by his parents, Victorio & Laura Escojeda; his brothers Marshal Ray Escojeda and Johnny Escojeda; sisters Mary Moreno, Joann Escojeda and Rosie Gurule.

Rudy is survived by his children Julia (Joe) Cruz, Jesse (Paige) Escojeda, Kim (Losha) Escojeda, and Goldie Escojeda; brother David Escojeda; sisters Della King, Nenea Gallegos, Lilly Delgado, Bernadine Acosta, and Peggy Madrid; grandchildren Eric (Ibeth) Cruz, Ashley (Jesus) Grijalva, Francisca Anchondo, Manuel Lujan, Serinaty, Santanita, Jesse Paige Escojeda, and numerous great-grandchildren.

The will be a viewing at 6:00pm Tuesday, December 07, 2021 at Farmington Funeral Home. Funeral service will be at 10:00am, Wednesday, December 8, 2021 at Bloomfield Assembly of God with Allen Wolford officiating. Pallbearers will be Joe Cruz, Eric Cruz, Tommy Ray King, Kim Escojeda, Jesse Escojeda, and Eddie Escojeda. Burial will take place following the funeral service at the Blanco Cemetery. There will be a reception following burial at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Bloomfield.
