Salvatore Anthony Paternostro

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Salvatore Anthony Paternostro, who left us on December 15, 2024, at the age of 81. Salvatore was born to Sebastian and Mary Paternostro on July 27, 1943, in Buffalo, NY, and spent his life building a legacy of hard work and dedication.

 Salvatore attended Rancho High School in Las Vegas, Nevada where he earned his high school diploma. One of his biggest accomplishments was earning his black belt in Karate. At a young age Salvatore enlisted in the 82nd Airborne division of the United States Army in Los Angeles, CA, where he served for his country for 4 years. After serving his country he later became a Fireman for the Clark County Fire Department in Las Vegas, Nevada. Salvatore was a selfless man and took pride in helping and caring for his community and his country. He later went on to better his education in plumbing and pipefitting in the construction industry. Salvatore belonged to the local 525 plumber and pipefitters where he worked in area code 51 on projects of all shapes and sizes. He was a jack of all trades and a master to none.

Salvatore is survived by his loving wife Ginger Paternostro (his hun), son Patrick, daughters Vicki and Kaja, brother Tony (Louanne) Paternostro, 6 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and 1 great- great-grandchild.

He is preceded in death by his parents Sebastian and Mary Paternostro, sister Philameno, and both maternal and paternal grandparents, 1 grandson, 1 great-grandson, and 1 great-granddaughter.

Salvatore was a proud husband and father to Ginger Paternostro, Patrick, Vicki, and Kaja and together they shared many wonderful years filled with love. He will be deeply missed by those who knew him and got to love him.
