Santiago Emilio Sandoval, 26, of Aztec, beloved son, and father passed from this life on Saturday, Oct. 28. He worked in the oil field most of his life. His pleasant personality and sweet smile will be missed by all. He didn’t know a stranger and was always ready to help anyone when called upon.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Mary Jane Sandoval, and his paternal grandfather, Ubaldo Jacquez. He is survived by his mother Stephanie Sandoval and friend Billy, father Randy Jacquez, son Julian and mother Julie Benavidez, his dad Nathan Garcia, his maternal grandfather Louie Sandoval, paternal grandmother Olivia Velasquez and husband David, and great grandmother Gloria Garcia; Uncle Louie Sandoval Jr.; sisters Krystal Jacquez-Valdez and husband Luke, Olivia Jacquez, brothers Nick Garcia, Sammy Garcia, Jacob Jacquez, Tyler Lucero, Randy (RJ) Jacquez, Niece Julianna Valdez, Nephew Jeremiah Valdez plus numerous cousins and friends.
A memorial service will be held for Santiago at The Masters Hand Church of God in Bloomfield, 306 N. 7th St. on Saturday Nov. 4, 2017 at 3 p.m. Another service will be held the following Saturday, Nov. 11, where a rosary will be recited at 10:30 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Aztec.
