Shawn Michael Harden

Shawn Michael Harden, age 28 of Farmington, New Mexico passed from this life January 19th, 2022. Shawn was born in Shiprock, New Mexico to Johnson harden and Dolores D. Harden. He was raised in Farmington, New Mexico. He graduated from Piedra Vista High School in 2012. He was baptized at Mesa View Baptist Church. Over the years Shawn has been involved in Special Olympics, National Down Syndrome Congress, The Arc of San Juan County, and The Arc of New Mexico. Shawn has attended many conferences to represent and advocate for individuals with disabilities. His spirit was a loud one that amplified his love for himself, his family, and others. Shawn also participated in the Rein Dance Association where he learned to care for and ride horses. Shawn loved to dance and jam out to music with his headphones. Shawn loved Jurassic Park and he has a collection of VHS, DVD, Blu-ray, and Digital Copies of his favorite movies. Shawn was a photographer, he enjoyed capturing photos with his iPad. He has lived a beautiful 28 years on earth and has been reborn in heaven. We love you, Shawn!

Shawn was preceded in death by Johnnie Harden and Lucy Harden. He is survived by his parents Johnson Harden and Dolores D. Harden, brothers Brandon Lee Yazzie, and Justin Jay Harden, Sister Cassandra Nicole Harden and his grandparents Harold W. Yazzie and Betty B. Yazzie.

Services will take place on Thursday, January 27th, 2022 at Mesa View Baptist Church followed by interment at Kirtland/Fruitland Cemetery.
