Steven Bruce Lamb

Steven Bruce Lamb, 75, of Aztec, New Mexico, passed away on August 12, 2022, in Aztec, New Mexico. Steven was born on January 15, 1947, in Gallup, New Mexico, to parents George and Leona Lamb.

Steve enjoyed staying busy. He loved music and played the clarinet in the marching band in Gallup, New Mexico. He graduated from Gallup, New Mexico in 1966 and went off to College in Silver City. He enjoyed working summers with the forest service during college. He later became an operator for El Paso Natural Gas where he met his wife Diane Lamb and had two children. Steve went back to school at San Juan College where he graduated with an Associate of Arts Degree. Steve was a Deacon at Calvary Baptist Church where he was eager to help others with a kind heart and a grin. He hosted many game nights at his home and loved being his church family for music and fun. Steve appreciated the outdoors, he would garden, trap, grow gourds, fish, and play with his dogs. He cherished his family and was proud of his accomplishments that his wife, children, and grandchildren made. He was a giving man who was always willing to help. He will be greatly missed.

Steven is preceded by his parents George R. Lamb and Emma Leona Lamb, grandparents Jacob and Hilma Lamb, Joy and Valley Gordon, and grandson Ashton Williams.

Steven is survived by his wife Shirley Diane Lamb, son Kyle (Becky) Lamb, daughter Candace (Mike) Williams, grandchildren Alizabeth, Aidan, Emree, Austin, Addison, and Avaree.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, August 17, 2022, at 10:00am at the Calvary Baptist Church in Bloomfield, New Mexico. Officiated by Brother Lee Eddy & Brother Mark Coffey. Followed by Burial at Memory Gardens Cemetery at 12:30pm.  The Family will host a reception at the Calvary Baptist Church in Bloomfield, New Mexico at 1:30pm.
