On July 5, 2024, our hearts were touched deeply as we said farewell to Steven Wayne West, a man whose life was a testament to faith, family, and the joy of living. Born in Farmington, New Mexico Steven's journey was illuminated by his unwavering love for Jesus Christ, which he shared fervently with all who knew him. He believed passionately in the power of faith and encouraged others to find salvation through Christ's love.
Steven's greatest joy was his beloved family. To his cherished wife Peteria A. West and his beloved daughter, Aubreigh West whom he affectionately called "Twinkles," he was a pillar of unwavering support and boundless love. Together, they shared a bond that transcended words-a bond of laughter, adventure, and heartfelt moments. He lovingly referred to them as "Dink and Twink," a testament to the joy they brought him each day.
A man of simple pleasures, he found immense happiness in the outdoors, whether fishing, cycling through nature's beauty, or sculpting and teaching his daughter. His zest for life and infectious sense of humor lit up every room he entered, leaving a trail of laughter and warmth in his wake. He was known for his favorite saying, "Giggity, giggity, all right," which never failed to bring smiles to those around him.
Though Steven has departed from our midst, his memory will forever remain a beacon of love, laughter, and faith. He leaves behind a legacy of kindness, joy, and an enduring belief in the power of family and faith.
