Terri Lameman-Austin

Terri was a Mother, wife, sister, and daughter. Her clans are Tachiinii, born for Bit'ahni, her maternal grandfather was Ashiihi, and paternal grandfather was Tódich'ii'nii. She was born and raised in Shiprock, NM with her sisters, JoAnn, Cheryl, & Geraldine. Her parents are Betty & Clifford Lameman. She is a loving wife to Leandrew Austin from Chilchinbeto, AZ and mother to Tamarron Tome Austin.

Terri completed her bachelor's degree at New Mexico Institute of Mining & Technology and her master's degree at University of New Mexico in hydrology. After graduating, Terri dedicated over 20 years to environmental reclamation, preservation, and awareness. She passionately prepared and inspired the next generations to continue restorative work on the Navajo Nation.

Terri thrived as a dedicated farmer and rancher throughout her life. Alongside her son and husband, she enjoyed traveling. She was also an avid runner who reveled in the great outdoors with her beloved husband and son. She will be dearly missed by her family, relatives, and many friends, who will forever cherish her memory.

Services are scheduled for 10:30 am Thursday July 06, 2023, at Farmington Funeral Home. 2111
