Timothy Slade

My Tim left this world on 12/03/2023 at 2:24 am in Farmington, NM. He was 72 years old. He went quietly and peacefully, just as he was. Tim was a quiet man who had little words, unless he was talking politics. We all know where he stood on that.

He loved my daughters and grandchildren and claimed them as his own. He loved our little William. He loved me so and I him. Tim will be missed by so many, especially me, as his wife.

Tim was born in Denver, Colorado on 12/23/1950. He joined the United States Air Force at 18 years old. Tim served in the Air Force for 14 years and during what he called The Vietnam Error. Tim also had several occupations. He was a truck driver, a CDL instructor, and computer instructor at San Juan College. Tim enjoyed carpentry for fun and of course he was my Avon dude.

He was a big brother to his sister Kim Britt and his brother Kris Slade who live in Farmington. He has a lot of family in Denver, Colorado and in California.

Tim is survived by his wife Ann; brother Kris Slade; sister Kim Britt; his son Terry Slade; nieces Yolanda Bennett, Karrie Podoll, Sarah Slade; nephews Dave Podoll, Jacob Slade, and Jarod Slade; Aunt Esther Collins; cousins Candy, Shirley, Sandy, Beth Diane, Joyce, Richard, Robert Rowley, and Paul Rowley.

A Celebration of Life will be held on December 23, 2023, from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm at 1 Road 6052 in Farmington, NM.

A love and sympathy donation will be accepted at the Celebration of Life in lieu of flowers.
