Tresa Ann Lasley

Tresa Ann Bowers, 73, of Bloomfield, NM passed from this life on June 29, 2022, in Farmington, NM. Tresa was born August 12, 1948, to parents Russell D. and Shirley A. Bowers in Mesa, AZ. Tresa grew up in the Mesa area. She attended Harplen High School and Phoenix College before marrying and starting a family. Tresa's love of plants and animals inspired her to raise her family on a little farm. Her green thumb made the property flourish. Tresa loved to cook for everyone; some of her favorite recipes will remain in the family forever, and none of us will ever make them as well as she did. Tresa was a vibrant woman who shared her passion and extensive knowledge of genealogy with everyone she met. She has touched the hearts of many.

Tresa is preceded in death by her wife, Viola Kay Coffman, her father, Russell D. Bowers, and her sister, Ginger Bowers. She is survived by her son, Aaron Lasley, her daughters, Leanne Kendrick, Megan Griffin/Lasley, and Mariah Lasley-Miller, and her sister, Nancy Bowers.

The family held a memorial service July 7, 2022 at Bethany Christian Church.

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that family and friends make a donation to their favorite mental health charity/organization.
