Valerie Marquez

Valerie Rose Marquez, 35, of Farmington, New Mexico, passed away on November 19,2023. She was born on October 30, 1988, in Farmington, New Mexico, to Carol Jaramillo/Sanchez and Abe Trujillo Jr. Valerie also known as Val, was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and business owner.

Valerie was the owner and operator of Marquez Printing, where she dedicated her time and skills. She took great pride in her work and was admired for her commitment and professionalism.

In addition to her successful career, Valerie had a vibrant personality and a zest for life. She loved getting dressed up in her boots, lashes, and big hair, and had a passion for different types of music. Valerie was known for her beautiful singing voice and would showcase her talent wherever she went. She enjoyed attending concerts, traveling, and spending quality time with her family. Being a grandmother brought her immense joy, and she cherished every moment with her three grandchildren.

Valerie is survived by her loving husband, Marcos Marquez, and their children, Elijah Marquez, Manuel Marquez and his wife Esmerelda, and Mariah Marquez. She is also survived by her parents, Carol and David Sanchez, her sister Maria Salazar and her husband Jerome, and her brothers Ryan Trujillo, Isaac Sanchez, Abe, and Manuel Trujillo. Valerie will be deeply missed by her grandchildren, Jeremiah, Lorenzo, and Azrial Marquez.

A celebration of Valerie's life will be held at Hill Church on Thursday, November 30th, in Farmington, New Mexico, at 12 pm. The services will be conducted by Farmington Funeral Home, located in Farmington, New Mexico.

Valerie Rose Marquez will be remembered for her kind heart, vibrant spirit, and dedication to her family and community. Her legacy will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her.
