Verma Raye Riedle Budai, 73 of Farmington, NM passed away on from this life into our loving Heavenly Father's arms on Sunday August 1st, 2021, at Cedar Ridge Inn skilled nursing facility.
Verma was born on August 26th, 1947, in Hot Springs, NM to Parents Dee B. Deal and Camilla A. Deal.
Verma was schooled and grew up in Silver City, NM. Verma, her Husband and young Son moved to Farmington in 1973. Verma worked as a waitress and in retail sales while raising her son to adulthood. She was an awesome cook. She was skilled at her Hobby of Crocheting. She crocheted red, green, and yellow chili ristras for her house and to give as gifts to others. Verma was a collector of Coocoo Clocks, Angel and Cherub Figurines and anything Chili themed to hang on her walls. Verma loved a good laugh, was kind to everyone she knew and loved her family most of all. The admonition in the Holy Bible to "pray without ceasing" was taken very serious by Verma. She was always asking for prayer, and she would definitely pray for you.
After three failed marriages Verma found and married the Love of her life Kevin Budai. A man who treated her with the love, honor, and respect, until death will separate you, that she deserved. Kevin was the only man to fulfill his vows to Verma.
Verma was preceded in death by three sons who died at birth, by her parents
Dee and Camilla Deal and her brother Jim Deal.
Verma is survived by her son Alden L. Hurlbut (Christy), sister in-law Snooky Jacky Hall Deal, brother Chester L. Deal (Vivian), husband Kevin Budai, grandsons Christopher Hurlbut, Aj Hurlbut, Tanner LeBlanc, granddaughters Haylee Szumlinski (Micah), April Hurlbut, Keara Brown (Jeremy Hunter), and 11 great grandchildren plus numerous nephews, nieces, and other family members.
Our Family wants to extend our appreciation to all the care givers who helped Verma over the years at Apple Ridge
Apartments. Tasheena, Teggie and Maria you were awesome. The Firemen from Farmington Fire Station #5 who helped her the many times she called for help and most recently the excellent care of the Nurses and Doctors at San Juan Regional Medical Center and Cedar Ridge Inn.
In leu of flowers please donate to the charity of your choice in honor and memory of Verma Raye Riedle Budai.
