Vickie Robinson, 66, of Aztec, New Mexico, passed away on March 28, 2025, in Aztec, New Mexico. Vickie was born on March 2, 1959, in Farmington, New Mexico, to parents Benjamin and Edith Kendrick (Thomas).
Her dad, Ben, was in the army, making her an army brat moving all over the world. She started school in France and graduated from Farmington High School in 1977.
Attended Ricks College in Rexburg Idaho and continued classes at San Juan College.
On August 11,1979 she married David Robinson and was married for 46 years until his passing on January 24, 2025. On April 28, 1986, they welcomed their first daughter, Elizabeth Ileen. On August 22, 1993, their second daughter, Megan Lee, was born.
Employed by San Juan County for 28 years starting in August 1984, working mostly in the Assessor’s office and then serving as San Juan County Treasurer from 2000-2004. After her term as treasurer, she worked as a guard and then as transport officer at the San Juan County Detention Center until she retired in November 2012.

On a nice day in the mid 90’s is when the goat obsession started!
She loved arts and crafts such as painting, ceramics, and finally found her passion: artisan goat milk soaps, lotions and more.
After retirement she enjoyed traveling to goat shows, meeting new people in the goat community, and starting her small business, “Utter Indulgence.” Later, partnering with her friend, Jill Neely Smith, and went to arts and crafts fairs and farmer’s markets. She also drove a bus for Aztec schools. She made friends wherever she went and was always willing to lend a helping hand and share her knowledge with anyone in the goat community. She loved her animals and her family.
Vickie is preceded by her husband, David Robinson. Her father, Benjamin Kendrick VII. Her brother, Benjamin Kendrick VIII. Both sets of grandparents: Herman and Bertha Thomas and Paul and Mable Kendrick. Her granddaughter, Everly Belle Nunn.
Vickie is survived by her daughters, Elizabeth Barron (Robinson) and Megan Nunn (Robinson). Her mother, Edith Kendrick (Thomas). Her sister, Valerie Lowery (Kendrick). Her grandchildren, Jacob Earl Barron, Hailey Elise Barron, Aurora Lynne Nunn, and Macklin Dean Nunn.
A Graveside service will be held on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, at 1:00pm at Kirtland Fruitland Cemetery, 59 Road 6580, Kirtland, New Mexico, officiated by Vern Thomas. All are welcome to attend the reception immediately following at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 400 W. Apache St, Farmington, New Mexico.
