Victoria Marick

Victoria Elaine Marick, 67, of Farmington, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 24, 2018, in Farmington. She was born March 3, 1950, in Pagosa Springs, Colo. to Seferino Valdez and Bernadine Augular.

On Wednesday, Jan. 24, we lost our beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, cousin, and friend. She was the glue that held our family together. She brought lots of love and laughter to our lives. She was a very hard working, independent woman who loved spending time with loved ones, crocheting, sewing blankets, and sitting on the porch. She was married for 28 years to Richard, who she called the love of her life. They shared many adventures through the years.

She will be missed by all and we will do our best to keep her memory alive.

Victoria was preceded in death by her great-grandson, Jesus Saiz; son, Steve (Nelo) Torres; her father, Seferino Valdez and her mother, Bernadine (Nardy) Lattin. She is survived by her husband, Richard Marick; son, Filbert Joe Torres Jr.; daughter, Dena Saiz; brothers, Wesley Lattin, Gilbert Valdez and John Valdez; sister, Rose Perez; and grandchildren, Kaysha Saiz-Atencio, Daysha Waldroup, Brandon Torres, Tessa Crockett, Josh Head, Ashley Ramsey-Woody, Trisha Parrish, Steven Torres, Vicktoria Torres, Erica Torres, Jessica Aragon, Tristan Torres, Alexia Waldroup, Bianca Waldroup, Vincent Waldroup, Emma Torres, Emillio Aragon and Joey Aragon.

Visitation will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 30 at Farmington Funeral Home, 2111 W. Apache St.

A reception will be at 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 30 at the Region Inn 601 E. Broadway Ave.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Richard Marick.
